Chinese Education Seminar

We are going to hold a Chinese education seminar at the Cafeteria at 9:45 this Saturday morning (5/15/2010). The presenter is Ms. Linda Liu. Linda is a board member of FCD School, a parent, and a teacher. She has extensive experience teaching Chinese in both Chinese schools and American private school. In April 2010 she attended National Chinese Conference in Washington DC and has brought back some important and most up-to-date information about Chinese program development in U.S. schools. In this seminar, she will cover the following contents:
(1) Provide an overview of achievements and current status of Chinese language in U.S. schools
(2) Examine opportunities and challenges our parents and educators are facing
(3) Describe a variety of Chinese programs in public, private, and Chinese schools
(4) Share some methods in helping our children to learn Chinese language more effectively
