Notice for the Opening Day

The 2009-2010 school year of FCD Chinese School will start on this coming
Saturday (9/12). Please note the following announcements for the first day.
(1) The Chinese class in the first day will start at 9:30AM as usual. All parents are invited to join your kid’s class in the first 20 minutes. During this time the teacher in each class will introduce herself to the students and parents in the class, and will briefly introduce the curriculum, requirements and the items requested parents’ assistance.
(2) We will have a brief opening ceremony in the Cafeteria at 9:50AM. Some messages and the points needing attention from Principal and Dean of Studies will be important. All of the parents are asked to attend the ceremony. It may take ~ 30 minutes.
(3) We have no culture class in the first day. The culture class will start from the 2nd week. Therefore, the school in the first day will be ended at 11:30AM. I’d like to remind here the Chinese class will be 9:30-11:20AM and the culture class will be 11:30AM – 12:20PM starting from the 2nd week (9/19).
(4) The registration will start at 9:00AM in the first day. The first day for registration will be very busy this year. If you plan to register in the first day, please come to school at 9:00AM.
